Patricia Bobeck is a freelance translator of French and Spanish into English who specializes in the earth sciences. Her areas of expertise include water, petroleum, uranium, chemistry, engineering, mining, the environment, and geophysics.

She translated Henry Darcy’s Les Fontaines publiques de la ville de Dijon from French to English, for which she received the S. Edmund Berger Prize for Excellence in Scientific and Technical Translation.
